In 1706, by decree of Peter the Great, a garden was founded beyond the Sukharev Tower in what was then the northern outskirts of Moscow, to grow medicinal herbs.
We offer a variety of educational excursions for schools, students, specialists, amateur gardeners and, at weekends and in the evenings, popular guided tours for the general public. Strolling around the Garden is not only a pleasant way to spend time in the open air – it’s also a feast for the senses at any time of year. Every one inevitably learns something new about plants, and perhaps even takes away some ideas for his or her own garden.
Next to the excursion you will enjoy buffet lunch in nice cafe.
