Tour Highlights

The Moscow Kremlin

The Moscow Kremlin is the oldest part of the city that includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with towers. The name "Kremlin" means "fortress inside a city". Moscow's fortified complex is located at the heart of the Russian capital. The Kremlin serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation and is linked to all the most important historical and political events in Russia since the 13th century.

The Armoury Chamber

The Armoury Chamber is a unique museum displaying the treasures accumulated by the Russian rulers between the 12th century and the October Revolution of 1917. The museum houses various historical pieces of Russia's imperial past including golden carriages, armor, Tzar crowns, Patriarch clothes, Fabergé eggs and jewelry.

St. Basil’s Cathedral

Every capital has a well-known landmark making it easily recognizable. In Moscow, such a landmark is the Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, commonly known as Saint Basil's Cathedral. Looking at the vivid colors of the church, can you believe that its original color scheme was white to match white stone of the Kremlin? During this tour, you will learn many amazing facts about history of St. Basil’s Cathedral.

The State Tretyakov Gallery

The State Tretyakov Gallery is one of the biggest collection of Russian art and a great museum you shouldn't miss while in Moscow. The gallery's 62 exhibit halls display thousands of artworks charting the development of Russian arts from the 10th century icons to the 20th century pre-impressionists.

Novodevichy Convent

Novodevichy Convent (New Maiden Convent) is an important Moscow attraction and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Convent is linked to Russia's historic, cultural, and religious development. At different times, it was used as a prison, an orphanage, a hospital, a refuge site, a religious institution, and a museum. The convent is an example of the highest accomplishments of Russian architecture with rich interiors and a significant collection of paintings and artifacts.

Sergiev Posad

Sergiev Posad is the former religious capital of Russia. During the tour, you will visit a beautifully restored monastery and feel what smaller towns in Russia are like. The Trinity Lavra is one of Russia's most important religious centers founded in the mid-14th century. In 1993, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The picturesque monastery complex comprised of over 50 buildings is a true gem of Russian architecture.
