Tour Highlights

If Moscow seems a bit crowded and you just need to take a break - visit VDNKh! It used to serve as the exhibition grounds to showcase achievements of the Soviet economy. While walking through the grounds, you will see multiple fountains, retro-styled pavilions, stunning flowerbeds, and even a statue of Lenin! Consider taking pictures of the pavilions. They have that Soviet look and will make a great addition to your travel photo collection.

Underground Bunker "Tagansky"

After a rapid elevator ride that takes you 65 meters under ground, you will see one of the top secret military facilities of the USSR – the Secured Command Post «Tagansky», also known as Bunker-42. During the visit, pass through secret tunnels and see weapons and communication equipment of the Soviet era.

The GULAG History State Museum

It's estimated that 20 million people were persecuted in Soviet labor camps in 1930-1950 - in the so-called GULAG system. At the highest point of the terror, in the 1930s, victims accused of plotting against the Soviet power were executed en masse. Visit this unique museum to learn about life in Stalin's labor camps and read about the experiences and suffering of individual prisoners. Touch the cell doors and immerse yourself in the brutal Soviet terror.

The Moscow Metro

Take the Moscow Metro Tour and discover why Moscow's subway is recognized as the most beautiful in the world! "They used to have palaces for king's, we are going to build palaces for the people!" said one of the main architects of the Soviet subway. Moscow's Metro spans around nearly the entire capital with over 185 miles of track carrying over 7 million passengers daily.

The Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics

The museum contains over 85,000 Soviet and Russian space-related exhibits and models which explore the history of space exploration, astronomy, space technology, and the space theme in the arts. The hi-tech materials and technology used to construct spacecrafts are extraordinary at a close-up look. Enriched by cosmos-themed artworks, the exhibition is a compelling reminder of the times when space exploration was viewed as mankind's greatest adventure.

The Moscow Kremlin

The Moscow Kremlin is the oldest part of the city that includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with towers. The name "Kremlin" means "fortress inside a city". Moscow's fortified complex is located at the heart of the Russian capital. The Kremlin serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation and is linked to all the most important historical and political events in Russia since the 13th century.
