Located in one of the most beautiful St. Petersburg’s suburbs – Pushkin (Tsarskoe selo), not far from its main attractions – Catherine’s palace and park – the “XIX century” restaurant consists of 3 different in design banquet halls for 80, 50 and 40 seats and a cozy private room for 10 seats. The restaurant’s slogan is: “Cuisine from tsar to hussar”, so you may try the great variety of 19th century dishes in the 19th century atmosphere.
The first banquet hall is the “Hussar Hall”. Its interior reflects the atmosphere of a military bivouac. On the walls you can see paintings picturing military people of the nineteenth century in the uniform of various hussar regiments. The menu of this hall corresponds to the spirit of the chosen interior.
The second hall is the “Liceum Hall” dedicated to the Liceum - school where the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin studied. Its interior is a continuation of the alley situated just opposite the restaurant. The Hall is decorated with park lanterns and fairytale trees growing almost from the walls. The windows of the hall face a wonderful view of the Liceum and Catherine Park. The menu of this hall suggests holding banquets of any level as well as a light, unconstrained meal.
The last banquet hall is the “Fireplace Hall”. Being a stylization of a drawing room of a noble family, the hall gives the idea of an aristocratic atmosphere. The menu in this hall is more exquisite and luxurious than those of the Liceum Hall and the Hussar Hall.
Small and cozy “Mon Plaisir” hall gives you the mood of holding small exquisite family get-togethers, business negotiations and having private meals.
